Ravenswood Zinfandel Teldeschi 2015

Product description

In 2015, Teldeschi Zinfandel’s powerful aromas of black cherries, coffee, caramel, and vanilla as well as other sweet dark fruit scents, combine to create the classic character of a great Dry Creek Benchland Zinfandel. Rich flavors of sweet cherry liqueur, vanilla, and smoke lead to a ripe, dense, long, and bright fruit finish.

Teldeschi Vineyard is always the highest quality of the zinfandel vineyards that Ravenswood crushes from the Dry Creek Valley. This wine's blend consists of 78.2% Zinfandel, 15.8% Petite Sirah, 5% Carignane, and 1 % Alicante Bouschet.

92 Points - Wine Enthusiast    From the wilds of the appellation and field blended with nearly 16% Petite Sirah and smaller amounts of Carignane and Alicante Bouschet, this wine is rich in red brambly dusty fruit. Demure on the palate at first, it is soft and structured, with a strong taste of strawberry and white pepper on the finish.
