The Zenato family's modest Santa Cristina winery on the shores of Lake Garda produces a magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. It spends 18 months in a combination of new and used French oak, followed by a brief rest in stainless steel and another 6 months or so in bottle before being released. This wine is full-bodied, refined, and silky.
