Zenato Cormi 2018

The name comes from blending the two varietal names, Corvina, the signature red varietal of the Valpolicella region and Merlot. In Veronese dialect, "Cormi" means "my heart" a name that also reflects the Zenato family’s dedication to the Valpolicella region. It is a passion that is readily evident in the resulting wine.

Tasting Notes ...Ruby red in colour, aromas of red berries and Marostica cherries are underscored by notes of blackberries and mint. On the palate, it is full-bodied with fresh acidity and sweet tannins. 

Delicious With ... Pair this wine with grilled ribeye steaks, champignon sauces, duck-confit risotto, or traditional Venetian cavallo dishes.
