Sourced from a Sonoma Valley vineyard perched on a steep hillside, where intensely rocky soils and elevations of 600 feet and higher coalesce to yield tiny, darkly pigmented berries. The Sonoma Valley fruit is framed and tamed by their Alexander Valley vineyard, nestled in the mild climate of the southern Alexander Valley. The 2016 Eleven Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a purple core of luscious juicy ripe black fruits, blueberry, peppered meats, and rich earthy notes. Excellent balance and structure complimented by firm acidity and soft integrated tannins.
92 Points - Decanter Excellent concentration of fruit with wonderful depth and complexity. Notes of rich black cherry forest fruit, thyme, sweet red fruits and chocolate with a bold and warming finish.
90 Points - Wine Enthusiast Thick and rich in cherry, raspberry and oak, this is a full-bodied, entirely enjoyable wine. The layers of flavor are soft and well integrated, with touches of leather and baking spice.
