Product description

Château d'Issan is a Third Growth estate located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. With a history dating back to the 12th century, it has long been recognized for producing wines that epitomize the elegance and complexity of the region. Today, the estate is managed by the Cruse and Lorenzetti families, who uphold traditional winemaking practices while integrating modern techniques to enhance quality.

Wine Description
The 2016 Château d'Issan is a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon and 36% Merlot. In the glass, it presents a deep garnet-purple hue. The nose is vibrant and expressive, with aromas of black cherries, blackcurrants, chocolate mint, beef drippings, black olives, and cigar box. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with an intensely flavored mid-palate, supported by firm, grainy tannins and a long, savory finish. This wine is crafted using sustainable viticulture practices.
