​Tantalus Vineyards, located in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada, has a storied history dating back to 1927, making it one of the oldest continuously producing vineyards in the region. The 2022 Cabernet Franc from Tantalus' Further Afield Series is a notable addition to their portfolio. This wine presents a bright ruby hue and offers a complex bouquet featuring notes of tomato leaf, cardamom, fresh tobacco, and crushed rocks, complemented by juicy raspberry and pomegranate aromas. The palate mirrors these aromas, delivering flavors of plum and raspberry, with additional hints of tobacco and pomegranate. The wine is characterized by its great length and a core mineral line, reflecting the high-quality vineyard from which it originates.

Crafted from 100% Cabernet Franc sourced from a certified-organic vineyard in Osoyoos, this wine underwent fermentation in separate batches at varying temperatures, utilizing both wild and inoculated yeasts. Stem inclusion involved up to 40% whole clusters, depending on the batch.
