The 2021 Shafer Red Shoulder Ranch Chardonnay highlights the cool-climate elegance of the Carneros region. This vineyard benefits from a long growing season, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly under a balance of warm days and cool nights. Fermented using a blend of 75% new French oak and 25% stainless steel, the wine avoids malolactic fermentation, preserving its vibrant acidity and refreshing character.

Aroma: Aromas of melon, honeysuckle, apricot, pineapple, and a hint of flint.
Palate: A lively mix of green apple, lemon zest, and subtle oak, with underlying notes of minerality.
