Wine Description
The 2019 'La Perriere' Premier Cru presents a vibrant ruby colour with an aromatic profile of wild raspberries, red cherries, and cranberries, accented by hints of violets, fresh thyme, and a touch of spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and finely structured, offering a lively core of red fruit, subtle earthiness, and chalky minerality. The tannins are smooth and well-integrated, while a bright acidity lends freshness and drive, leading to an elegant, lingering finish. Composed entirely of Pinot Noir, this cuvée is approachable in its youth but will develop gracefully over the next 10–15 years, with optimal drinking from 2025 to 2037.
