The 2019 'Lavaux St Jacques' Premier Cru opens with a deep garnet colour and an aromatic bouquet of crushed raspberries, wild strawberries, and red currants, layered with nuances of rose petals, fresh herbs, and gentle spice. On the palate, it delivers a precise expression of red fruit, complemented by mineral undertones and hints of forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, the wine exhibits silky tannins and a vibrant acidity that provide structure and length, leading to a long, elegant finish. Crafted entirely from Pinot Noir, this cuvée offers immediate appeal but will reward cellaring, with an optimal drinking window from 2026 to 2038.
