Bodyguard Chardonnay
The Bodyguard Chardonnay is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes. In the glass, it presents a bright golden hue. The nose is rich and fragrant, offering aromas of spiced pear, star jasmine, vanilla bean, and tropical rainforest, with trailing scents of pineapple, mango, crushed filberts, and buttered toast, accented by hints of allspice and honeysuckle.
On the palate, it is crisp and silky, expanding with mouthwatering flavors of white peach, pineapple, honeydew melon, and lemon zest. Underlying tropical notes of papaya, kiwi, and passion fruit are laced with toasty oak and baking spices. A lush, clean finish reveals lingering impressions of citrus, almond, and vanilla.
The wine undergoes 10 months of barrel aging in 30% new French oak, 30% new American oak, and 40% neutral French oak, contributing to its complexity and depth.
Food Pairing
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with dishes such as roasted poultry, creamy pasta, or seafood in butter sauces. These pairings enhance the wine's opulent flavors and create a harmonious dining experience.
