Product description
Gaja's 'Darmagi' is an iconic Cabernet Sauvignon from the Langhe region in Piedmont, Italy. The name, meaning "what a pity" in the Piedmontese dialect, was inspired by Giovanni Gaja's reaction to planting Bordeaux varietals in an area traditionally reserved for Nebbiolo. Introduced in the late 1970s, 'Darmagi' represents Angelo Gaja’s innovative approach to winemaking and his vision to elevate the expression of international varieties in Italy.
