The 2021 Bin 28 Shiraz pours a deep crimson red, hinting at the richness to come. Aromas leap from the glass with layers of dark cherry, blackberry, chocolate, and spiced plum, complemented by hints of vanilla and cedar from 12 months of American oak maturation. On the palate, this full-bodied wine delivers generous flavours of black fruit, licorice, and mocha, wrapped in fine-grained tannins and supported by vibrant acidity. The texture is velvety, and the finish long and savoury, reflecting the hallmark Penfolds style.
