Arran Signature Series Edition 1 "Remnant Renegade" Single Malt Whisky

Fun. A new series from Arran. These limited runs have always gone over well. Their concepts are interesting, their execution is top notch, and the spirits are universally of a high quality. This new Signature Series will be comprised of 4 releases. The first, Remnant Renegade, is a multi-vintage release created from a bunch of random, cool remnant casks they had kicking around. According to the Arran site, a marriage of "Ex-Sherry Hogsheads, Ex-Sherry Butts and Ex-Bourbon Barrels from across the Arran portfolio between 1997 and 2017.

Aromas of toffee apples, vanilla, cinnamon spice, really clean and prominent orange blossom notes, star anise. Flavours that are silky smooth and balanced, light liquorice, menthol herbs, honey. Long and lingering finish with orange zest and fresh floral notes. Complex and rewarding.
