General Information

Macduff is probably the distillery that immediately brings to mind the designer, Delme-Evans, classic, clean and functional lines with the stillhouse being the most intriguing part of the property. Macduff is equipped with 5 stills, 2 washes and 3 spirit stills, all equipped with line arms slightly angled upwards and with a right-angled side fold. The stills also have horizontal (usually vertical) shell and tube condensers. The Macduff 14 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whiskey distilled in 2006 and aged in a single barrel former sherry hogshead (# 101721) before being bottled in 2020 to its natural level (52.4% vol.) Without being filtered cold and without the addition of dyes in 341 bottles.
