Big Peat is the powerful smoky homage to the Island of Islay. Heavily peated single malts from the island are blended for this malt. Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and Port Ellen are mentioned as usual on the whisky label and of course the Big Peat man can be found there again with his familiar pinched face in a Christmas atmosphere.
The Big Peat Christmas Malt is “bursting with burnt caramel, wafts of Hebridean sea air and rich earthy notes, balanced by a toasted marshmallow sweetness”.
