The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino is sourced from both the Pian Bossolino and Fonte Lattaia Cru’s.
There are beautiful aromas of red cherries and raspberries are woven together with spices, leather, sandalwood and minerals all taking shape in this excellent Brunello.
On the palate this medium-bodied red is beautifully balanced with remarkable finesse and purity as it heads into the long, silky finish, which is laced by lovely spice notes. This is simply gorgeous and should continue to drink well over the course of the next decade.
