Winemaking:
Vintage Port is a wine of a single harvest of outstanding quality. The wine must be bottled between the second and third year of age, maturing henceforth in bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca
Tasting Notes:
This explodes on the palate, with power and intensity to the wild plum, raspberry and blueberry flavors, supported by plenty of fresh acidity. Distinctive, revealing powerful notes of smoke and spice on the refined finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Ports are wines that develop very well in the bottle and should therefore be cellared in a dry and cool place where the bottles should be kept laid down. Serve at a temperature of 17 to 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
Good with with mature cheese, chocolates and a good cigar.
