General Information
This 1995 vintage from Glenrothes was the first of their whiskies to be aged with a specific character in mind. This was made with 70% refill casks and 30% sherry-treated casks with American and Spanish oak. The nose is buttery along with toffee, apples and hints of allspice. On the palate you will note American-style pancakes laden with cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup along with creamy malt, sherry and peanut butter. A long finish with toasted almonds and golden syrup. A deliciously spicy, rich whisky.
