Product description

Rémy Martin Louis XIII Le Jeroboam is an exceptional Cognac presented in a 3-liter crystal decanter, embodying the pinnacle of the Louis XIII collection. Crafted from up to 1,200 eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from the Grande Champagne cru, each aged between 40 to 100 years, this Cognac epitomizes the heritage and craftsmanship of the House of Rémy Martin.

Decanter and Presentation:

  • Design: The decanter is a masterpiece, handcrafted by Europe's finest crystal artisans and individually numbered. Its distinctive silhouette is inspired by a 16th-century flask discovered at the site of the Battle of Jarnac in France. The creation of such a large crystal decanter requires exceptional skill and precision.

  • Limited Production: The Jeroboam is released in very limited quantities each year, reserved for a few privileged aficionados.

  • Coffret: The decanter is presented in an opulent wooden case, accompanied by four exclusive glasses, a display, a book, a letter from the Cellar Master, an invitation to Cognac, and a spear (pipette) – a tool traditionally used by generations of Cellar Masters to extract the Cognac with the lightest touch as part of a unique tasting ritual.

Tasting Notes:

  • Aroma: A complex bouquet featuring notes of myrrh, honey, dried roses, plum, honeysuckle, and leather.

  • Palate: An intricate tapestry of flavors, including figs, passion fruit, and ginger, with subtle nuances of cigar box and nutmeg, leading to a harmonious and enduring finish.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Temperature: Serve at room temperature to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity.

  • Glassware: Use the accompanying exclusive glasses to enhance the tasting experience.

  • Ritual: Employ the traditional pipette to extract the Cognac, mirroring the practices of the Cellar Master.
