Chateau Cap D'Or Saint Georges Saint Emilion 2016

Saint-Georges is the smallest of the four Saint-Emilion satellite appellations. It's also one of the closest geographically and in terms of slope and elevation to Saint-Emilion, lying north of the town with the little Barbanne stream separating the two appellations. Cap d’Or, produced by Jean-Philippe Janoueix, has restrained red fruit aromas with raspberry and red cherry. It is more serious on the palate and is medium to full-bodied. This is a structured wine with the potential for maturation.
