A complex Speyside single malt whiskey praised for its depth and complexity. John Smith designed Cragganmore distillery around unique flat-topped stills to deliver complex flavours. It is a true designer malt.
APPEARANCE... Gold.
BODY... Firm, rounded, light to medium.
NOSE... A combination of sweet floral fragrances, riverside herbs and flowers with some honey and vanilla.
PALATE... A strong malty taste with hints of sweet wood smoke and sandalwood.
FINISH... A long, malt-driven finish with light smoke and hints of sweetness.
Serve on the rocks in a tumbler or tulip glass to concentrate its flavour, and add a splash of water to release more of its complexity.
