La Bossiere is a very small climat (barely half a hectare) to the west of Gevrey-Chambertin, a monopole owned by Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy.
Ripe and fresh aromas of red and dark cherry that are laced with earth and sauvage wisps. There is both good verve to the lightly mineral-inflected middle flavours that possess a sleek mouthfeel thanks to the relatively fine-grained tannins that shape the harmonious if slightly warm finish.
