Product description

The nose of the Sauvignon Blanc slowly opens with scents of white flowers and candied nectarine. A gentle swirl unlocks incredibly delicate notes of pink grapefruit, orange blossom, lemon curd with meringue, white musk and a hint of oyster shell. The palate delivers crystalline minerality and creaminess with notes of toasted brioche, rose petals and lily of the valley, leading to a pure and precise finish. Against the odds set by the exceptional climatic pressure of the vintage, this is perhaps the most vibrant and subtle Sauvignon Blanc ever produced from the Eisele Vineyard.

97 Points - James Suckling

Lots of tropical fruit with mango and pineapple character. Ripe pear with some crushed stone. Lavender and green papaya, too. Full-bodied, lightly chewy and phenolic. Structured. It needs time to open, but a fantastic finish. Bitter-lemon and salty notes at the end. Better in 2024.

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of nectarines, grapefruit and orange blossoms, plus hints of chalk dust, white pepper and oyster shell, with a gentle waft of beeswax. Medium-bodied, elegant and refreshing, the palate delivers impressive intensity with a backbone of racy acidity and a long, chalky finish.
