Gruner Veltliner Velue comes from six- to fifty-five-year-old vines from a selection of vineyards located around Johannes's village.  

The flavor profile features notes of apples and herbs on the nose, a medium-bodied texture that is refreshing yet complex and multi-faceted on the palate with shimmering minerality and a hint of phenolic character.

Light, yet round in feel, this is a well-meshed wine, with vivid acidity, redolent of grapefruit, which provides the backbone, but also the vibrancy. This is more on the nuanced, textural side, than flashy, fruity side. Yet, notes of orchard fruit and spice will not leave you disappointed.
