In the southern edge of Burgundy this Macon-Vinzelles this offers up a baked apple/pear, citrus nose with spice, buttery, floral lees aromas. The attack is ripe if a touch rustic in style with juicy, creamy textures and more baked apple, apricot honey, spicy lees butter and mineral slate flavours. Good juicy finish with some length and elegance. Well done and could be fun with fresh cracked crab.
