The name Bruxo is derived from the combination of the words "brujo," which is Spanish for wise, and "Oaxaca," for the state and city in Mexico. This bottling is the work of Maestro Candido Reyes. Produced from wild tobala agave roasted in a stone pit oven and milled with a tahona wheel, the agave juice is fermented in pine vats. Bruxo Mezcal No. 5 Tobala is double distilled and bottled at 46% ABV.
