Bond's St. Eden originates from an 11-acre rocky knoll situated just north of the Oakville Crossroad. The iron-rich, red, rocky, volcanic soil of this north-facing site originates from high in the Vaca Mountains. The 2019 vintage exemplifies the vineyard's distinctive terroir, offering a harmonious balance of aromatic brightness, focus, and nuance.
Tasting Notes
Color: Deep ruby red with a purple tinge.
Nose: Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, cassis, wild cherry, and leafy herbaceous notes, complemented by sweet oak spices.
Palate: Rich and velvety texture with ripe firm tannins, vibrant acid backbone, and flavors of blackcurrant, wild cherry, and sweet oak spices.
Finish: Elegant and classy with a beautiful mouthfeel, leading to a long, satisfying finish.
