Rum Sponge 'Clarendoni' 1997 25 Year Old Special Edition

This is the first (and potentially only) Rum Sponge Special Edition bottling they have done - and it is extreme, silly and extremely silly. 

This is a 50/50 mix of rum from a single barrel of 1997 Clarendon with the same volume from a barrel of 1997 Caroni. Both of these casks each had over 20 years of tropical maturation, and the resulting 25 year old blend was bottled with a few degrees reduction at 60% in the rather sexy hand blown glass we use for these very occasional Special Edition releases. Only 95 bottles of this mad blend have been created.
