Santa Rita, one of Chile's most prestigious wine estates, is known for its heritage and entrepreneurial spirit. Domingo Fernandez founded this historic property in Chile's Maipo Valley in 1880, and it was one of the first to plant European grape varietals in Chile. Today Santa Rita exports to more than 70 countries worldwide. The property accounts for outstanding vineyards in Chile’s most important appellations - the Maipo Valley; Casablanca; Rapel; Apalta; Leyda and Curico - enabling access to diverse climates and terrain.
It is a deep purple red, with expressive aromas of black fruits and subtle hints of spice. The palate has great volume and structure, its soft, savory tannins are balanced by its lush fruit and spice characteristics. A sensational well rounded, lingering wine, resulting in a rich, smooth finish.
