Taylor Fladgate can rightly claim to be masters at their craft. This ready-to-serve aged Tawny is close to perfection. Rich apricot and dried-fruit flavors and lengthy, nutty, honeyed finish. Just as with the 10-year-old version, once opened this will last for several weeks. Serving Chilled Tawny Port Enjoy chilled tawny port during the summer months. Simply put the bottle in the refrigerator for an hour or so before serving. Optionally add ice, as it may dilute the flavour. A chilled Tawny, savoured as a pre-dinner drink is a great way to whet the appetite. There is also nothing nicer than sipping it slowly, lounging in the garden, reading a good book. A contemplative, relaxing wine, perfect for summer sipping.
