A real step up from the entry level malts in the range the 18 year old Aberlour, a Speyside Single Malt, is beautifully rounded, just like the bottle and an optimal age for whiskies from Aberlour. Perfect for a late evening dram.
Nose: Creamy, like melted vanilla ice cream. Fruity and honeyed.
Palate: Fresh juicy apples and oranges before sherry kicks in with supple sultanas and vanilla.
Finish: Intricate with chocolate raisins and oily caramel notes.
