Tasting Notes

One of the first two wines Ferrari‐Carano ever made over 35 years ago, this Fumé Blanc is comprised of Sauvignon Blanc grapes from Sonoma County. This wine has aromas and flavours of pineapple, pink grapefruit, lemongrass, lychee, peach, pear, honeydew melon, orange blossom, guava and a touch of minerality. This Fumé Blanc has bright acidity and crisp freshness from the cool, stainless steel tank fermentation, while the subtle oak character from neutral French oak barrels adds body, complexity and depth.

Fumé Blanc pairs well with simple seafood and poultry dishes, and also holds up nicely with veal and pork. This wine has lively flavours that go well with spicy and ethnic cuisines such as Japanese, Thai, Mexican and Southwestern style dishes.

ZYN delivers within and outside the City of Calgary .There is a flat fee within the City of Calgary and there are variables ZYN needs to review before providing a quote for shipping outside Calgary. Once we review your order, ZYN will contact you with a quote. At this time, if you do not wish to proceed with the order, ZYN will cancel the order as well as the pre-authorization applied to your credit card.

If the item(s) is in saleable conditon, it will be refunded. If the item has been shipped outside Calgary, the shipping charges are the repsonsibilty of the purchaser.

Faulty items will be evaluated on an individual basis before a decision is made.
