Fond memories of family meals in France and Québec influenced the choice to make elegant, food friendly wines. Suzor was born from a desire to create wines that resonate with vivacity and authenticity of the vineyards they are sourced from, and the people who make them.
Only 140 cases per year of the Gamay are produced, but a little was made available for Alberta. It is not made using an intracellular ferment, but rather a traditional red wine vinification. It is a splendid, Régnié-like offering, giving off freshness, lightness, tangy red fruits, and dashes of spice.
