Further notes can include black tea, sassafras, and white-peppered oak. The palate is full-bodied, luscious, and deep. It offers rich, dark fruit flavours like black cherry and baked blueberries, supported by hints of baking spices and cocoa. The texture is silky, velvety, and well-structured, brightened by a protected natural acidity. It is aged for 10 to 12 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels.
