The Zuccardi family’s approach to sustainability starts with the environment and people before any product. They’re dedicated to producing the highest quality wines through sustainable practices such as a focus on nurturing biodiversity, organic farming, efficient irrigation practices, composting, water treatment, comprehensive waste and recycling efforts, and the use of solar energy. The winery itself is designed to be naturally energy efficient by maximizing natural light and minimizing electricity consumption.
As a third generation family-owned winery, the Zuccardi’s take seriously their responsibility to protect the environment, support the land, the farmers and uplift the local community.
A blend of the best grapes from Altamira, the wine is a complex with excellent structure, with mineral aromas and ripe black fruits.
Blend: 85% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Franc

The 2018 Tito Zuccardi is a co-fermentation of approximately 85% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Franc from Altamira. I noticed the herbal freshness and the notes of orange peel, like in the other 2018s, marked by the vintage and the soils from the Piedra Infinita, showing the chalky texture and the backbone. This has notes of herbs and pink peppercorns, and it showed a bit reductive and very finely textured. I believe this is the best Tito to date.
94 Points - James Suckling
This co-fermented malbec and cabernet franc shows blackberry and blueberry character, as well as stony notes and some bay leaf. Medium body. Fresh and vivid. Drink or hold.
