Beefeater Gin

The brand's history can be traced back to 1820 when the Chelsea Distillery opened, which was later purchased in 1863 by James Burrough. Burrough, a pharmacist by trade, used his skills to invent the recipe for this exceptional quality London dry gin. To this day, the gin is produced using Burrough's original 1863 recipe and process, which includes 'steeping' the nine botanicals for 24 hours prior to distillation.

The aroma presents a classic London Dry aroma that is pine-forward with juniper, balanced by spicy and fruity notes, along with a hint of light citrus zest. The palate is dry but ideally balanced with a herbal bouquet. It has a clean flavour with bold juniper character balanced by strong citrus notes. More orange notes may emerge on the palate as do subtle hints of parma violet and coriander. The body and finish is smooth and lingering, embodying the traditional London Dry gin profile, with a dry finish featuring citrus notes.
