Romero Amber Rum

This rum opens with notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and caramel. The palate is described as smooth and velvety, with flavours of toffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of spice. The rum has a long sherry finish, with hints of almond and dried fruit. Other notes mentioned include rich caramel, toasted oak, molasses, and a touch of smokiness. It has a full-bodied mouthfeel.
The rum is distilled in Canadian-made copper pot stills and is made from fancy molasses, blackstrap molasses, and cane sugar. The spirit is rested in fresh ex-bourbon barrels from Woodford Reserve and is finished in Oloroso Sherry casks imported directly from Jerez, Spain.
