Champagne Palmer & Co. was established in 1947 by seven grower-families with Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims region of Champagne. Winemaking at Palmer is a highly collaborative affair: Cellar Master Xavier Berdin and a team of four oenologists taste over 200 distinct lots. The team must reach full consensus before any blend is finalized.
Subtle aromas of citrus, white flowers, and almonds. Silky on the palate with beautiful minerality. An incomparably pure cuvee. 100% Chardonnay.
Crafted from Chardonnay primarily from the magnificent terroirs of Villers-Marmery and Trepail. These Premier Crus in the Montagne de Reims area, recognized for their elegance and freshness, are harmoniously blended with the delicately fruity Chardonnay of the Cote de Sezanne.
93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Wafting from the glass with a toasty bouquet of citrus oil, orchard fruit, bee pollen, nectarines and iodine, it's medium to full-bodied and fleshy but precise, with fine depth at the core, racy acids and a pinpoint mousse. This comes warmly recommended.
93 Points - Wilfred Wong
The Champagne Palmer & Co. Blanc de Blancs is concentrated yet refined and delicate with a long and lasting finish. This wine shines with aromas and flavors of stones, minerals, and savory spices. Pair it with grilled Dungeness crab and enjoy the feast.
91 Points - James Suckling
A focused yet creamy and rounded Blanc de Blancs with plenty of croissants, apple pie, pear tart, hazelnuts, shortcrust, white peaches and lemon curd. Soft and supple mousse. Bright finish.
90 Points - Wine Spectator
A lively version in an aperitif style, offering a balanced mix of ripe green apple and pear, biscuit, candied ginger and chalky mineral set on a light, lacy bead.
