Whisky Description
Deep amber in colour with copper highlights, it opens on the nose with sultanas, aged leather, orange peel, and polished oak, layered with tobacco and antique spice. The palate is rich and full-bodied, delivering fig jam, treacle, spiced fruitcake, and dark chocolate, complemented by notes of aged oak and nutmeg. The finish is long and contemplative, with dried fruit, cedar, and lingering clove. A touch of water reveals hints of vanilla, dried citrus, and delicate spice, adding depth and nuance.
