Product description
Gratavinum winery was founded in 2003 as a Priorat project by the Cusiné family, who also own the Parés Baltà winery. The winery's name is a contraction of the village name 'Gratallops' (where the winery is located) and 'Vinum' (Latin for wine). Gratavinum follows the Cusiné family philosophy of winemaking, with all its wines certified organic since 2004.
Wine Description
The wine presents a deep purple colour with ruby tinges. The aromatic profile is complex, showing explicit presence of preserved red fruit, such as ripe berries, red plums, and pomegranates, balanced with toasted notes from the oak, fruit tea, scrubland, and earthy undertones. On the palate, the wine is described as powerful and chewy with rich fruit, exhibiting a good volume and acidity. It has a soft entry that evolves to show ripe, slightly unpolished tannins.
