Glenfarclas Family Cask 1988 - Released Summer 2018
Product description
This 1988 vintage has been aged in a single refill sherry butt until it was bottled in the summer of 2018, giving it an age of around 30 years. The bottling has a heavily sherried profile typical of Glenfarclas. This dram serves up notes of lush red fruits, pineapple, dried mango, dark honey, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, chocolate malt, dark oak, toffee, vanilla, molasses, leather and nutty Oloroso.
The whisky is bottled at a cask strength 52.4% ABV, and presented free from chill filtration or colouration. Glenfarclas at its finest. A pure hit of delicious refill Oloroso character.
