This wine originates from the Central Valley of Chile. Founded in 1880 by Domingo Fernandez, Santa Rita is a pioneer of Chilean viticulture that focuses on high quality and sustainability. The 120 Series is named in honour of 120 patriots who found refuge in the winery's cellars during Chile's 19th century struggle for independence.
The Santa Rita 120 Cabernet Sauvignon is an intense violet red wine with a detailed sensory profile. The nose is dominated by red and black fruits, complemented by notes of clove, vanilla, and tobacco derived from oak aging. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine features sweet, smooth tannins and a fresh, juicy finish. It is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon varietal with an optimal drinking window of three to five years.
