Suntory Toki Japanese Whisky

Introduction

Blended from Suntory's three distinct distilleries, Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita, this whisky is a modern expression of the house's century-long craftsmanship. Founded in 1899 by Shinjiro Torii, Suntory opened Japan's first malt distillery, Yamazaki, in 1923. Toki, meaning 'time' in Japanese, was introduced in 2016 to bridge the gap between traditional heritage and innovative spirit, specifically highlighting Hakushu single malt and Chita grain whisky.

Description

This blended whisky features a clear, pale gold colour. The nose is fresh and herbal, characterized by notes of green apple, basil, and wild honey. On the palate, it offers a light and silky body with bright citrus flavours of pink grapefruit and green grapes, underscored by peppermint and thyme. The finish is clean and subtly sweet, with a lingering spicy touch of white pepper, ginger, and vanilla oak. ABV 43%.
