Product description
Brockmans Gin is a premium, contemporary style gin produced in England. Launched in 2008 by a group of close friends Neil Everitt, Bob Fowkes, and their partners the brand was created to break away from traditional juniper-heavy London Dry gins and explore a softer, intensely fruit-forward flavour profile. It is distilled in the Black Country region of England at an independent distillery using a 100-year-old traditional copper pot still nicknamed "The Mariner".
Spirit Description
Brockmans is crafted from a unique recipe of 11 botanicals sourced globally, including Italian juniper, Spanish almond and citrus peels, and Chinese liquorice. Its defining characteristics, however, come from its signature post-distillation infusion of wild northern European blueberries and blackberries.
Colour: Crystal clear and transparent.
Aroma: Highly aromatic, lush, and perfume-like. The nose is overwhelmingly dominated by sweet, ripe berries, dark plum, and candied citrus, with a very subtle background hint of piney juniper and ginger spice.
Palate: Soft, smooth, and distinctly velvety on the tongue. The palate mirrors the nose, delivering intense flavors of sweet blueberry compote, jammy blackberries, and bright orange zest, supported by an earthy mid-palate of coriander seed and almond paste.
Body: Medium-bodied with a rounded, slightly creamy texture that minimizes any sharp alcohol bite.
Finish: Moderately long and smooth, trailing off with a gentle touch of dry wood spice, warm citrus oil, and a lingering, sweet berry sweetness.
ABV: Bottled at 40% (80 Proof).
