The Cordero di Montezemolo winery, known for its focus on the Barolo area, has roots in the Monfalletto property in La Morra dating back to 1340, having been managed by 19 generations since. The vineyards are located in the Langhe, within municipalities like La Morra, Guarene, and Govone. The winery, which is certified organic, emphasises respect for the land and the terroir of the Langhe as the basis of their sustainability concept.
Wine Description
The intense bouquet offers notes of peach, acacia flowers, chamomile, melon, and yellow flowers. On the palate, the wine is dry and medium-bodied with an oily texture. It is inviting and fresh, showcasing zesty acidity and a typical, slightly bitter note on the finish. Stylistic notes include being juicy, cheerful, harmonious, and balanced, with a fluid or clean finish.
