Since 1865, Glenfarclas has been owned by just one family, the Grants, and is one of only a few distilleries in Scotland to be family owned and managed. An excellent introduction to the distillery style, Glenfarclas's 12-year-old is aged in sherry casks and puts forth seductive aromas of sherried fruit and oak. The finish is persistent, with notes of licorice and grilled cereals.
