JaM Cellars Butter Chardonnay is produced in the United States, originating from select vineyards across California. The winery was founded by second-generation Napa Valley vintners John and Michele Truchard, whose initials form the 'J' and 'M' in JaM. Growing from a small project to a national success, the winery is rooted in a philosophy of creating 'super-approachable' wines that are easy to appreciate and enjoy for any occasion.

Wine Description

This Chardonnay presents a rich, pale yellow colour and a bold sensory profile. The nose is medium-high in intensity, offering a creamy bouquet of vanilla, baked apple, and toasted oak, accented by hints of butterscotch and lemon curd. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and lush, delivering ripe flavours of peach, pineapple, and stone fruit. Its signature 'melt in your mouth' texture is achieved through cold fermentation and aging in a unique blend of oak, leading to a long, creamy finish with lingering notes of toffee and vanilla.
