A Vision of Distinctive Terroir Belle Glos is the personal vision of fifth-generation winemaker Joseph Wagner, who named the estate in honor of his grandmother, Lorna Belle Glos Wagner (a co-founder of Caymus Vineyards). While many producers blend Pinot Noir from various sites, Belle Glos is dedicated to single-vineyard expressions from California’s premier cool-climate coastal regions. By focusing on specific sites in the Santa Maria Valley, the Santa Lucia Highlands, and the Russian River Valley, Wagner produces Pinot Noirs that are unapologetically bold, highly concentrated, and distinctive.
