Product description
Chateau Leoville Las Cases is one of the oldest and most esteemed estates in the Médoc, dating back to the 17th century. Situated in the Saint-Julien appellation, the property has long been recognized for producing wines with First Growth character. Owned by the Delon family since the mid-20th century, the estate adheres to a philosophy of precision, tradition, and terroir expression, often drawing comparisons to its prestigious neighbours in Pauillac.
Wine Description
This 2022 vintage is a striking expression of Saint-Julien elegance and Pauillac power. Deep ruby with purple reflections, it opens with complex aromas of blackcurrant, graphite, violet, cedar, and crushed stone. The palate is full-bodied yet remarkably poised, revealing layers of cassis, blackberry, tobacco leaf, and subtle oak spice framed by firm, refined tannins. There is notable density, freshness, and mineral tension that underscore its structure. The finish is long, savoury, and impeccably balanced.

Food Pairing
An ideal companion to roasted lamb with rosemary, dry-aged ribeye, or duck breast with blackberry reduction. Rich mushroom dishes or black truffle risotto also harmonize beautifully with its earthy undertones.
