Chateau Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estephe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Second Growths in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
The history of Montrose, written in two centuries by three families of owners, is a depositary of their spirit, marked by their quest for excellence and legendary vintages. Pioneers in the Médoc, visionary builders and wise managers, all these families knew how to work and valorize this unique terroir. The estate owes them the foundation on which Montrose builds its image today and its fantastic place in the world of exceptional wines.
